Registered Nurse Assessment Coordinator (RNAC)

POSITION:                  Registered Nurse Assessment Coordinator (RNAC)
DEPARTMENT:            Nursing
CLASS:                        Full Time-Leadership
STARTING WAGE:       Negotiable
HOURS:                      Varied, Unit time included
REQUIREMENTS:        Possess current or Pending Pennsylvania RN license with 2-3 years of experience in a long-term care facility.

• Proficiency with computers with willingness to learn insurance programs.
• Good clinical nursing skills and assessment skills.
• Self-motivated and kept up to date with changing regulations.
• Good employment/attendance record.
• Must be able to stand, walk, sit, squat, bend, push/pull, lift a minimum of 25 lbs. alone or 50 lbs.
  with assistance.
• Conduct chart audits for proper nursing documentation and provide nursing staff with proper
  training for the preferred quality and quantity of documentation required.
  Coordinate and oversee the resident assessment (MDS) and care planning system to assure each
  resident is assessed on a timely basis and has a current care plan established.
  Coordinate and complete the required paperwork for Medicare, Medicaid, Department of Health
  and other regulatory agencies as it relates to the residents and the medical and nursing services
  they receive.
