Donor Operations Supervisor

Community Blood Bank is looking for a Donor Collections Supervisor to help lead our Donor Collections team. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines employee supervision, donor care, training, scheduling, quality oversight, and day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, train, and support Donor Collections staff and Team Leaders
• Assist with hiring, performance evaluations, and employee development
• Create and manage staff schedules
• Oversee daily donor collection activities and help troubleshoot operational issues
• Perform donor screening, phlebotomy, apheresis, and other collection procedures, as needed
• Review records and documentation for accuracy, quality, and regulatory compliance
• Help maintain staff competencies, training, policies, and procedures
• Coordinate supplies, vehicles, and other operational needs
• Serve as a leadership resource when the Manager, Donor Collections is unavailable
• Participate in an on-call rotation

Requirements

• At least 2 years of related medical, technical, supervisory, or donor collections experience
• Customer service experience and strong communication skills
• Leadership or supervisory experience required
• Bachelor's degree, RN/LPN, or equivalent combination of education and related experience preferred
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office
• Current CPR certification or ability to maintain required certification
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional nights and weekends
• Ability to travel out of town as needed
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
