The Incident Management Specialist (IMS) develops and maintains quality assurance reviews of agency incidents and ensures licensing and regulatory compliance for individuals served by EHCA. The IMS ensures incidents are resolved quickly, efficiently, and effectively to minimize operational disruptions.

 

Skills and experience:

  • Experience with state regulatory bodies.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, supervisors, Leadership Team members, employees, and members of the general public.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with others in sensitive and confidential situations.
  • Working knowledge of computer software applications including Microsoft Office and other business-related applications.
  • Possess a current, valid driver's license.
  • Be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
  • With EHCA's assistance, obtain all clearances required to meet regulatory compliance. This includes Act 33 (PA child abuse), Act 34 (PA criminal background check, Act 73 FBI fingerprint clearance and the National Sex Offender Database. For applicants who have lived out of state in the last 2 years, the Department of Aging clearance is required. 

 

Base pay rate is $22.00/hour. Pay rate is based on experience.

Requirements:

Applicants must have one of the following groups of qualifications-

 

Group A. A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and one (1) year of work experience with persons with intellectual disabilities or in related fields and quality assurance.

Group B. An associate’s degree or 60 credit hours from an accredited college or university and three (3) years of work experience working with persons with intellectual disabilities or in related fields and quality assurance.

Group C. A high school diploma or equivalent and five (5) years of work experience working with persons with intellectual disabilities or in related fields and quality assurance.

 

This position has no remote option.
