EMPLOYEMENT JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure company policies and actions adhere to labor laws  
  • Manage the talent acquisition process
  • Onboard employees
  • Collaborate with Administration to promote positive employee relations
  • Coordinate the employee separation process
  • Provide support and guidance when specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances 

PAYROLL & BENEFITS JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Implement employee benefits programs 
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations and recommended best practices
  • Review employee(s) timesheets and payroll reports related to time and labor
  • Process and verify accuracy of bi-weekly payroll, salary or wage adjustments
  • Process responses to unemployment insurance benefit(s) claims
  • Processes status changes, tax changes, terminations, award processing, deductions, direct deposits, retroactive adjustments and special pay (i.e. garnishments, deferred compensation, W-4, and direct deposit requests) to payroll system

REQUIRED BACKGROUND 

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in business
  • 3 years experience in Human Resources and Payroll and Benefits Administration
  • Strong knowledge of employee relations, onboarding processes, and HR administration
