Be a part of the solution - Join our amazing team to help the childcare workforce! We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Pre-Apprenticeship Coordinator to join our workforce office. This position offers an exciting opportunity to help in providing program coordination, support participant engagement, and ensure the smooth operation of our pre-apprenticeship initiatives with high schools throughout the region as we grow. The ideal candidate will be a team player that is passionate about the development of quality within the early childhood workforce, help students with the CDA credentialing process, and possess strong organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.

Duties

  • Coordinate pre-apprenticeship program activities, including recruitment, onboarding, and participant tracking with partner schools
  • Help pre-apprentices successfully complete their CDA credentialing process, ensuring agencies and partner schools have the supports they need for success
  • Maintain accurate records using data entry systems on shared folders and Excel Spreadsheets
  • Assist with event planning and providing presentations, training sessions and workshops

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Early Learning or related field is preferred
  • Proven experience in the early childhood field with strong organizational skills
  • Proven understanding of DHS, STARS, and the childcare workforce
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace tools
  • Experience with data entry, filing, and maintenance of confidential records
  • Excellent communication skills with a professional etiquette
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to support students and agencies in a professional manner
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously
  • Drivers license and travel is required
