St. Mark’s is a vibrant and welcoming community of the Episcopal Church, engaged in a creative partnership with the Cathedral of St. Paul to form Erie Episcopal. Our worship life is rooted in the rich Anglican tradition and enlivened by a diversity of musical expression. We embrace music from a wide range of traditions—classical, contemporary, Gospel, and beyond—reflecting the diversity and joy of our congregation. We approach worship in a blended style, combining the beauty of our liturgical heritage with the vitality of modern expression. Music is central to who we are and how we experience the presence of God together.

The ideal candidate will: Be an experienced and inspiring music leader who can nurture participation and creativity;  Demonstrate skill in selecting music that is both scripturally grounded and culturally relevant; Be familiar with a broad spectrum of musical resources, from traditional hymnody to contemporary and global music; Be energized by the opportunity to shape and develop a new, sustainable vision for music ministry at St. Mark’s.
