Position Details:

• Location: Mercyhurst University, Erie, PA
• Schedule: 10 Saturday sessions from November 8th to April 25th
• Type: Part-Time
• Pay Rate: $25.18

Responsibilities:

• Develop and teach a basic curriculum in English Composition and Literature aligned with Keystone standards
• Evaluate student performance and provide targeted support to improve weak areas
• Administer tests, prepare assignments, and assess individual student needs
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for students from diverse backgrounds

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education and/or English
• Active PA Certification in English (Grades 7–12)
• Experience with high school English curriculum and instruction
• Strong communication and motivational skills
