Director of Advancement

The Diocese of Erie is seeking a dynamic and mission-driven Director of Advancement to lead and grow its comprehensive fundraising initiatives in support of the bishop’s vision and the broader mission of the Catholic Church. This key leadership role will develop and implement strategic advancement plans, cultivate donor and parish relationships and oversee major fundraising campaigns to ensure the long-term financial sustainability of diocesan ministries. Ideal candidates will bring at least five years of relevant experience in fundraising, major gifts or related fields such as marketing or project management. A bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, business or a related field is required. Strong leadership, donor engagement and data-driven decision-making skills are essential.
