Summary

We are seeking an Executive Director to lead our team at Early Connections, Inc. This role is pivotal in overseeing operations and ensuring that our programs run smoothly while maintaining a focus on high-quality service. The Executive Director plays a key role in supporting our mission of quality leadership and collaboration, while enhancing the lives of young children and their families.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations to ensure efficient program delivery.
  • Help provide leadership, oversight, and support to the organization's long-term programming, activities, and events.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations related to early childhood education and care.
  • Collaborate with staff, directors, and community partners to promote a positive environment that meets the needs of our children and families.
  • Provide advocacy for the rights of children, families, and child care workers to ensure their needs are met effectively.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with relevant agencies and organizations within our community.

Requirements

Master's Degree or higher and experience in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, Family Life Sciences, Special Education, Organizational Effectiveness, or relevant fields, along with the following:

  • Proven experience in an administrative leadership role within a non-profit or early childhood organization.
  • Demonstrated success in grant writing, budgeting, and fiscal management.
  • Deep understanding and knowledge of best practices in early childhood education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging staff, families, and community partners.
  • Experience collaborating with a Board of Directors and guiding organizational governance.
  • Enthusiasm and a passionate commitment to the Early Connections mission and vision.
  • Strong team-building skills and ability to foster a collaborative work environment with enthusiasm for promoting team spirit.
