Receiving Associate / Driver

Job Summary
Habitat for Humanity's ReStore is seeking an Associate to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient pick-up, receipt, processing, and organization of incoming inventory. This position requires strong attention to detail and experience with donations. Experience driving a box truck and picking up donations is a plus. Candidates with a knowledge of home and building materials a plus.

Duties

• Duties include assessing and accepting product drop-offs; unloading trucks and cars; shelving materials, sorting & cleaning donated products, moving and displaying items and materials as needed or directed and other duties as assigned.
• Assist with donor pick-ups of materials either/or as driver or helper. Experience driving a box truck preferred.
• Previous warehouse work and physical work experience preferred.

Schedule

• Workdays and schedule are flexible.
• Work Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and/or Friday as needed.
• Either full shift from 9-4 or half shift from 9-1 or 1-4.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Candidate is organized and enjoys physical work.
• Candidates with a knowledge of home and building materials a plus.
• Work with and supervise volunteers.
