As the Revenue Cycle Manager, you will be the liaison between the Children's  Center's programs and their contracted billing company for all revenue cycle/client billing matters. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can navigate complex billing systems and maintain effective communication with various stakeholders. The ideal candidate will contribute to the overall financial health of the organization by optimizing revenue cycle operations. Previous revenue cycle, healthcare practice management, or healthcare finance experience? If so, this could be the right opportunity for you!

Duties

  • Work with the contracted billing company to ensure that all information needed for patient service billing is provided to the billing company.
  • Manage communication between providers/programs and billers for any corrective actions.
  • Approve revenue cycle management decisions on the agency side, in conjunction with the CFO.
  • Perform agency and provider credentialing with insurance companies, managed care entities, or other payers.
  • Supervise and coordinate staff engaged in agency revenue cycle and associated tasks.
  • Develop policies and procedures for the agency revenue cycle process.
  • Review and share reports of revenue cycle activity for management.
  • Provide revenue cycle management (guidance, direction and monitoring)
  • Accounts receivable management
  • Revenue cycle administrative processes
  • Analyze revenue cycle data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure accurate documentation for coding purposes.
  • Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of Associates degree or equivalent form of a two-year college or technical school; and at least two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong understanding of medical billing processes, insurance regulations and the provider credentialing process.
  • Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and billing software.
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with all parties.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
