Summary of Position:

Provides effective leadership in planning, organizing, implementing, and directing all Child Care program activities as assigned by the Associate Director of Operations and/or the Executive Director. Helps in the building and creation of a warm and welcoming environment for children and families in our community. Assures highest quality standards are upheld in the services provided along with being a partner with parents in their children's learning and development. Reports to the Associate Director of Operations.

This position is also a key member to the MCRC Leadership Team which acts as the guiding voice to the strategic plan and vision of the organization. Must be willing and able to have crucial conversations and be a constant champion for the needs of the program, including staff, children and families.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

Minimum Experience: Three to five years’ experience in a supervisory capacity within social services. Experience in providing services to the community and working with at-risk youth. Knowledge of refugee and immigrant community and its dynamics preferred. Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required. Bilingual or Multilingual preferred.
Minimum Education: BA degree in education, child development, or related field. 2 years day care experience. 1-year supervisory experience

Must have valid PA driver’s license and own transportation
