Fundraising Event Coordinator at WQLN PBS NPR

WQLN PBS NPR is seeking a self-motivated individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to serve as Fundraising Event Coordinator on our development team. As Fundraising Event Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be leading WQLN PBS NPR fundraising events from inception to completion under the guidance of the Fundraising Engagement Manager.

Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

1. Organize various aspects of the WQLN PBS NPR’s biggest fundraiser, The Great TV Auction, including donation solicitation and data entry.
2. Coordinate major fundraising events including, but not limited to, annual Erie Craft Beer Fest, Golf Tournament, and Craft Show.
3. Generate ideas for new WQLN PBS NPR fundraising events.
4. Assist with community engagement projects.
5. Assist with Radio & Television Fundraising Campaigns.

1. Build and maintain strong relationships with WQLN PBS NPR staff and community partners.
2. Voice scripts for TV, FM, and digital platforms for promotional and fundraising content.
3. Utilize Asana for project management and team collaboration to streamline workflow and meet deadlines.
4. Represent WQLN PBS NPR at various events, solicit volunteers, and engage with our organization’s members.

This role requires a self-starter who is comfortable working independently and with a talented, enthusiastic team in a supportive and creative environment. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in a professional setting, strong computer skills including fast and accurate data entry, and knowledge of Microsoft 365 Office Suite. The candidate will have a professional phone presence and in-person demeanor, is highly detail-oriented, organized, and utilizes excellent time management skills. The candidate must be able to lift at least 25lbs in this role. This position reports to the Fundraising Engagement Manager.

WQLN PBS NPR offers an excellent benefits package. The starting salary range is $32,000 - $37,000, based on experience.
